Make your own Delicious Nutty Flavoured, Multigrain Breadcrumbs
Make your own Delicious Nutty Flavoured, Multigrain
Breadcrumbs
The process is exactly the same as for making your own white
breadcrumbs which you can see in the previous post on How To Make Your Own Breadcrumbs.
Use multigrain bread instead of the white loaf and follow
the instructions right to the very end as for the White Breadcrumb making.
The multigrain breadcrumbs will be far more golden in colour
and will have the most amazing nutty aroma to them.
I prefer not to process these a second time as I like to
have the pieces of grains and seeds p[resent in this breadcrumb mix but you can
sieve them if you want to remove these for your own use.
Multigrain Breadcrumbs are excellent to use when making
croquette to give that added nutty flavour and texture. They are also excellent
to use for coating meat patties before grilling for those homemade burgers.
You can make breadcrumbs out of any bread your heart
desires. Each variety will give you a different flavour and texture.
Why not try sourdough bread to give that extra bite and
flavour to your meatloaf for example?
Enjoy!
