Silence
Never has a truer statement been made in today’s modern age!!
When we remain silent we become as guilty as those that
commit the offense or responsible for the deaths of innocent people that can no
longer cope that we could have helped if not for the silence we hold so dear,
and this attitude has to stop immediately. Just because these things are not
happening to us does not mean we can stand idly by as they all continue to
happen in our very own communities.
So many stand silent as women are raped and murdered by
their partners.
So many stand silent as children continue to be raped,
abused and murdered.
So many stand silent as people fail to cope with poverty and
become homeless.
So many stand silent as people take their own lives because
they can no longer cope.
We all stand silent for far more reasons. When will we stop
being silent and do something to stop these things from happening?
